And we are officially in the month of October. These months are flying by so quickly, that I can’t believe that we are soon going to welcome Winters :0 WOW

For my latest post I thought of doing something different, I combined two posts that is my monthly Favorites and Empties in to a single post. Why I did this? because I usually share those products that are mostly my favorites. Even for my Empties, though I go through a lot of products and garner lots of Empties, but again I usually share products which I really like and which work just great. Hence, I thought why not combine these two posts in to one πŸ™‚ πŸ˜‰

What do you guys think of this new idea? Share your views on IF I should do two separate posts on Favorites and Empties OR combine these two posts in a single post?

Okay so enough with the ramblings, let’s get started.

  1. Boots Extracts Vanilla Body Butter

Anything having even a distinct fragrance of Vanilla gets me going. I LOVE the smell of Vanilla. I bought this particular body butter from Bangkok from the Boots store. This Body butter is very good for dry Β to normal skin. It has a very nice vanilla fragrance. The Body butter is very moisturising and hydrating. The best part is my skin remained soft for two days straight, I kid you not! This is an intense moisture experience and for all of you out there who have dry skin, this stuff is a great buy for you πŸ™‚

2.Β NIVEA Natural Fairness Hand Cream

Hand Creams are a MUST in my basic regimen. I have these practically everywhere πŸ˜‰ in my vanity drawers, kitchen, hand bag you name it. Hands and feet are one of the most neglected body parts among others and that is why I try to keep creams handy to use them whenever I get time or after washing my hands every time. In my opinion NIVEA makes some of the best creams out there. I particularly bought this one and go on re-purchasing this as it has berry and liquorice extracts. Whilst I am using this hand cream I do notice my skin more even toned, fair and soft. Do try this out peeps πŸ™‚

THE BODY SHOP is one of my Favorite brands for skin-care. This Vitamin C boost serum is my most liked empties. It’s a beautiful serum which has a mousse-y gel like texture. It goes on smoothly in the skin while making the skin noticeably lighter and brighter. Also my make-up went on so smooth on top of this serum. This product is just marvelous ❀

One of the BEST if not the best make-up removers that I have come across, BIODERMA Sensibio is a genie in the bottle. It removes the make-up so gently without irritating the skin. Even water-proof make-up comes off with it easily. It should be a staple in every make-up addicts vanity ❀

To lock in all the make-up handiwork on our faces, we need a setting spray and one of my most Favorite among all is the Urban Decay ALL NIGHTER. This is an excellent setting spray. This keeps the make-up intact for a good 4 to 5 hours on me, which is pretty good.

Glamglow masks are LOVE. They make some of the best masks out there. Though I am not too happy with their price range which is pretty steep 😦 That is the ONLY thing that makes me contemplate on purchasing these BUT not enough for me to purchase though πŸ˜‰ This particular mask which also doubles up as a treatment is awesome. It clears the skin and if you have some zits or pimples, it diminishes them too. Somehow after using this treatment/mask my skin looks and feels great for the entire week πŸ™‚ Super LOVE this product ❀

This pressed powder is the ONLY pressed powder I used whenever I needed a little coverage or running around doing quick errands. It is so finely milled and wears comfortably on the skin.

So there my lovelies, you have my Favorites/Empties for the month of September. Let me know how you like my idea of combining two posts into one. Also, have you tried any of these products? What are your thoughts on them?

Till next time,

MAHA ❀ ❀ ❀

  1. Hi Maha! How are you? I must say this is a really nice post. Have you tried body shop’s body butters? How different are they from this boots body butter? About the serum. I use their microdermabrasion scrub from vitamin C line and I love it! I’ll give this serum a try also. Will it work for oily skin? And I also love glam glow masks and facewashes!
Hey please pay a visit to my blog also. I also write about beauty. I hope you’ll find it interesting. Love 😘

    1. Hi Amna I am good. I am glad you liked the post. I have a combination skin, so for me the serum suited fine. I suppose it would suit oily skin too. The Body Shop Body butters are also my favorites. I think TBS body butters are strong in scent area but otherwise I think in the area of moisture they both are more or less the same.
I am following you on Facebook πŸ˜€ will definitely check out your blog.
      Thanks for dropping by ❀

  2. Hi, found the idea of a two-in-one post very interesting, since both topics are similar so makes sense to combine them πŸ™‚ Haven’t used any of these products but since I also find Vanilla fragrance irresistible so will definitely check out Boots Extracts Vanilla Body Butter during my next visit to UK πŸ™‚ Till then, I will satisfy my Vanilla Craving with the Body Shop Vanilla Body Butter which is also great πŸ™‚ I was also on the look out of a good makeup remover so also thanks for sharing about BIODERMA Sensibio Micelle Solution. Nivea is one of my favourite brands for skin care so will give the hand cream you mentioned a try as well πŸ™‚ Well, thanks for the lovely post, already looking forward to another! πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you so much Ramla. I look forward to your comments. It feels like I am having a conversation with you πŸ˜‰ hmm. .. guess I need to try the Vanilla Body Butter from The Body Shop now. Thanks for the suggestion.

  3. Boots body butter seems amazing. I like intense moisturizing creams because my skin is dry. By the way I also love pampering my hands and feet and I have placed lotion bottles in my washroom and kitchen as well( of course there are plenty of them in my bedroomπŸ˜ƒ) Nivea creams are my favorite too. Great postπŸ˜ƒ
